This FR-C Pro (FormaRed-Carbon) sleeveless tri top is adapted from the jerseys that professional cycling teams like Mitchelton-Scott wear at the hardest races in the world. The fit is that of a second skin, making you as aero as can be without resorting to a race suit. The fit is further improved by both the placement of seams and the selection of the materials, both of which make you faster. Take a good look at the front of the jersey. The front panels and shoulders are virtually seamless, other than the zipper. This allows for the jersey to be stretched tight over the torso without bunching or binding. And like the jerseys the pros wear, the front panels are made of waffled Borgini fabric for excellent wicking.
The side panels and pockets are constructed from Aliseo mesh, which has generous stretch. The two pockets are accessible from the sides, which is a plus when either riding or running.
The back panel is where this jersey differs from what road racers wear. It’s built from High-Speed Light Lycra, which features a striped texture for better aerodynamics. Not only is it body-hugging, but it supports the rest of the jersey, helping hold everything else in place.
Aiding in the effort to keep the jersey in place and aero are Stay Put 5cm wide bands below the pockets.
